Ruben Amorim has highlighted one player he considers “crucial” to his system following his first match as Manchester United manager, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town.

Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for United just 80 seconds into the game at Portman Road, but Omari Hutchinson equalized for Ipswich with a deflected long-range effort before halftime.

In the second half, Ipswich posed a greater threat, with Andre Onana making several vital saves, including a close-range stop to deny Liam Delap from 12 yards out.

Reflecting on the match, Amorim acknowledged in his post-match interview with Sky Sports that there is significant room for improvement.
