Carragher responded sharply, calling Salah “selfish” and accusing him of prioritizing personal concerns over the team, especially with key games against Real Madrid and Manchester City approaching.

Speaking on CBS Sports after Liverpool’s 2-0 Champions League win over Real Madrid, Robertson was asked about Carragher’s comments. Presenter Kate Scott inquired about the squad’s opinion of the former Liverpool defender, noting the criticism Carragher often faces online.

Robertson responded humorously, saying, “He’s been getting a bit of stick in the changing room this week, that’s for sure!”

Before the match, Robertson praised Salah’s professionalism despite the off-field speculation. “Mo has been phenomenal this season; his numbers speak for themselves. There’s been a lot of noise, but he and the others have stayed focused on football. As long as he keeps producing on the pitch, I’m more than happy.”
