Chelsea urged to reconsider permanent Jadon Sancho deal after fans notice concerning behavior

Jadon Sancho provided both assists in Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Heidenheim in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night but failed to win over all fans.

The winger joined Chelsea on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window after a challenging spell at Manchester United, with an obligation to buy contingent on certain conditions being met.

Although he was a regular feature early in his loan spell, the 24-year-old missed several matches due to illness. His start against Heidenheim on November 28 marked his first appearance in Chelsea’s starting XI in seven games, the last being the 2-1 loss to Liverpool on October 20.

While Sancho’s assists proved pivotal—setting up Christopher Nkunku’s opener and later helping Mykhailo Mudryk secure a second goal—fans were left frustrated by his performance. Critics highlighted his lack of urgency, hesitation to take shots, and tendency to slow down play, despite the team’s win maintaining their flawless Conference League record.

Despite the victory, many supporters expressed concerns about Chelsea potentially committing to a permanent deal with Manchester United for Sancho.
