Fans were outraged after noticing Jorginho’s actions during Arsenal’s 5-2 victory against West Ham United.

Arsenal fans have expressed frustration with midfielder Jorginho after noticing his controversial behavior during their team’s 5-2 victory over West Ham United.

The Gunners secured their third consecutive win in the Premier League on Saturday, comfortably defeating their London rivals at the London Stadium. Goals from Gabriel, Leandro Trossard, Martin Ødegaard, Kai Havertz, and Bukayo Saka highlighted the team’s dominant performance.

However, it wasn’t the goalscorers who sparked debate among fans. Instead, attention turned to Jorginho’s actions during the final moments of the match. The midfielder appeared to obstruct West Ham goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański’s view as Arsenal prepared to take a free kick in a dangerous position.

After Fabiański’s protests, referee Anthony Taylor stepped in and instructed Jorginho to move, but the incident still drew criticism from fans online.

One fan reacted on X, calling Jorginho’s behavior “ridiculous” and labeling it “anti-football.” Another questioned his sportsmanship, asking, “What sort of barbaric sportsmanship was that?” A third fan remarked, “Jorginho blocking Fabiański’s view in the 90th minute when the game is already won says a lot about his character.” Meanwhile, an Arsenal supporter jokingly referred to the incident as “Jorginho trying some dark arts.”

Despite the controversy, the result leaves Arsenal in second place in the Premier League with 25 points, keeping pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City ahead of their clash at Anfield. The Gunners will next face Manchester United at the Emirates in a midweek fixture, welcoming Ruben Amorim’s side to Nort
