Liverpool have reportedly made a contract offer to Virgil van Dijk as negotiations continue to address uncertainty around his future, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein. The Premier League leaders are said to be aiming to resolve the situation, with Van Dijk’s current deal set to expire in June 2025.

The 33-year-old defender is one of three Liverpool players approaching the end of their contracts, alongside Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Talks with Alexander-Arnold are reportedly ongoing, while Salah has yet to receive a formal offer, though this is expected to change soon.
