Speaking on talkSPORT with Jason Cundy and Jamie O’Hara, Jackson highlighted potential challenges for Garnacho. When asked about players who might struggle under the new system, Jackson noted (4:20), “You get to someone like Garnacho—where is he going to fit? If [Kobbee] Mainoo plays, [Bruno] Fernandes is going to be a wide-right player, which is Garnacho’s usual position.”

Amorim has a tough task ahead as he rebuilds United, which could involve offloading players who don’t suit his tactics. While Garnacho has shown promise in recent seasons, his contribution this campaign has been limited, with just three Premier League goals so far. Despite criticism, the 20-year-old winger has expressed his determination, sharing on Instagram ahead of the Everton match (1 December), “I will keep doing my things.”

To secure his place, Garnacho may need to adapt, following examples set by players like Amad Diallo and Marcus Rashford, who have successfully transitioned to the new system.
