Jamie Carragher completely loses his composure and criticizes Marc Cucurella for his “embarrassing” behavior following Spurs’ second goal.

Jamie Carragher criticized Marc Cucurella after Tottenham went 2-0 up against Chelsea in their London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Spurs, aiming to end a three-game winless streak, got off to a strong start with goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski. Meanwhile, Chelsea were targeting a climb to second in the Premier League after Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Fulham and had the chance to cut Liverpool’s lead at the top to four points following the postponement of the Merseyside Derby.

Following Kulusevski’s goal, Cucurella was spotted rushing to the touchline to change his boots, drawing criticism from Carragher. Speaking on Sky Sports, the former Liverpool defender called the situation “embarrassing,” saying, “Cucurella’s coming to the bench, don’t blame anyone else – it’s your own fault, son! Absolute schoolboy stuff. Embarrassing. He slips again. Look at him shrugging his shoulders. Did he not do a warm-up?”

Despite the early blunder, the boot change paid off as Cucurella later assisted Jadon Sancho’s stunning long-range strike, bringing Chelsea back into the game at 2-1 after 17 minutes.

Praising Sancho’s goal, Carragher said, “This is just outstanding from Sancho. He sets it outside the goalkeeper, and they’re back in the game.” Similarly, Clinton Morrison, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, commended Sancho’s performance, adding, “Sancho has definitely got his mojo back. All he needs is a bit of loving. That is just as good as Kulusevski’s finish. What a football match.”
