Real Madrid is reportedly planning a surprising swap deal with Liverpool, involving Aurelien Tchouameni and Ryan Gravenberch. With the transfer window set to open soon, rumors are intensifying. Liverpool has previously been linked to Tchouameni, and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s potential move to Madrid is also being discussed, as his contract nears its end. Meanwhile, Liverpool was interested in Martín Zubimendi but failed to reach an agreement, leading them to sign Gravenberch, who has impressed under manager Arne Slot.
According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid could offer Tchouameni, valued at £90 million, in exchange for Gravenberch, who is worth around £33 million. However, given Gravenberch’s strong performances this season—cementing his place as a key figure in Liverpool’s midfield—it’s unlikely that Liverpool would agree to such a deal. Jamie Carragher has praised Gravenberch’s transformation, noting he has become a completely different player under the new manager.
