Paul Pogba fuels speculation with cryptic message amid new rumors of a potential Manchester United return.

Paul Pogba has sparked speculation about his next move after posting a cryptic message on social media Friday night.

The 31-year-old midfielder, formerly of Manchester United and Juventus, is currently a free agent following his departure from Juventus in November. His exit came after receiving a four-year doping ban, which has since been reduced to 18 months. Pogba will be allowed to resume training in January and return to competitive action by March, fueling interest in where he might play next.

In his Instagram post, Pogba shared a timer emoji along with a zipped-mouth and winking face, leading fans to believe his next destination may already be decided.

Pogba’s return to Manchester United in 2016 for a second stint was met with mixed reviews, and he left the club on a free transfer again in 2022. Despite his move to Juventus, rumors of another comeback to Old Trafford have emerged, with suggestions he could train with his former club in the new year.

Former United striker Louis Saha added to the speculation, revealing he’d heard Pogba might return to train at Carrington. Speaking to Casino Utan Spelpaus, Saha said: “I’ve heard rumors that Paul Pogba will be offered the chance to train with Man Utd in the new year. It could be a great opportunity for him to regain his form and train alongside top players. I believe Paul would welcome the chance to return.”

Pogba, who made over 230 appearances for Manchester United during his two spells, won the Europa League and the League Cup during his time with

the club.
