Manchester City fans are outraged with Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee after witnessing his actions following the match.

Manchester City fans were left furious with Joshua Zirkzee after noticing his actions immediately following Manchester United’s stunning 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

United overturned a 1-0 deficit with two late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo, dealing a significant blow to City’s Premier League title hopes on Sunday afternoon. The dramatic comeback left United supporters ecstatic, while City fans were in disbelief after what had seemed like a comfortable win for their team.

Amid the celebrations, Zirkzee, who came on as a substitute in the 78th minute with City still leading, drew particular ire from City fans. Just 12 minutes later, he was seen joining his teammates in jubilant celebrations after Diallo’s injury-time winner completed the turnaround.

What really upset City supporters, however, was a video showing Zirkzee running over to taunt the home fans as soon as the final whistle blew. His antics quickly went viral, with United fans praising his boldness on social media.

One United fan wrote, “Zirkzee, I love you so much for this!” Another added, “Hahaha, what s***housery. Love that!” A third commented, “This is what we need to see—proper derby mentality. Up the Reds!”

Zirkzee later doubled down on the celebration, taking to Instagram to gloat about the win. He posted a photo captioned, “Paint the town red like Doja said,” further fueling the rivalry.

Since joining United from Bologna in the summer for £34 million, the 23-year-old Dutch striker has struggled to find consistent form, managing just three goals and two assists in 23 appearances. Despite reports suggesting he might seek a move away, his enthusiasm following Sunday’s victory indicates his commitment t

o the team.
