Zinedine Zidane reportedly responded with a three-word answer when Manchester United approached him for the managerial role, as details of a recent offer emerge.

Zinedine Zidane has reportedly made his stance clear about taking the Manchester United managerial role with a simple three-word response.

Over the years, Zidane has often been linked to the Old Trafford hot seat, with his name surfacing after the departures of managers like Jose Mourinho, Louis van Gaal, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Erik ten Hag. Most recently, Zidane was rumored to be in the running in October, but no move materialized, as he has been unattached since his second departure from Real Madrid in 2021. United ultimately opted to appoint Ruben Amorim, impressed by his success at Sporting CP.

According to reports, Zidane wasn’t just approached by Manchester United. Spanish outlet MARCA revealed that Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich also expressed interest in his services. However, Zidane reportedly gave all these clubs the same response: “No, thank you.”

The report highlights Zidane’s preference for remaining in Madrid, where he lives, rarely deviating from his routine except for visits to Paris or Aix-en-Provence, home to his Zidane Five Club school, which promotes youth inclusion through sports. Zidane is also said to have no desire to manage another club besides Real Madrid.
