Chelsea XI vs FC Noah: Starting lineup, confirmed team updates, and the latest injury news for today’s Conference League match

Young talents Tyrique George and Samuel Rak-Sakyi have been included in Chelsea’s squad.

Enzo Maresca has once again rotated his lineup for tonight’s Conference League clash as Chelsea host FC Noah at Stamford Bridge.

For these third-tier European matches, the Blues’ manager has typically opted for a completely different starting XI compared to the Premier League lineup, and tonight is no exception against their Armenian opponents.

Chelsea are anticipated to secure a comfortable win against FC Noah, who currently sit fourth in the Armenian Premier League standings.

Unavailable for selection are Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Ben Chilwell (all unregistered), and Cole Palmer, who is injured. Jadon Sancho is also sidelined due to an illness and, according to Maresca, picked up an additional knock in training on Wednesday.

“He’s recovering,” Maresca shared regarding Sancho’s illness. “He also took a knock in training, so he’s definitely out for tomorrow. We’ll assess if he’s fit for Sunday; otherwise, it’ll be after the international break. The rest are all available, and we’ll likely make changes.”

Starting for Chelsea, Benoit Badiashile takes up a central defensive role, with academy star Tyrique George also getting the nod.

Leading the attack is Marc Guiu, with Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku in more advanced midfield roles, creating a highly offensive setup.

Chelsea XI: Jorgensen, Disasi, Adarabioyo, Badiashile, Veiga, Fernandez, Felix, Mudryk, Nkunku, George, Guiu

Subs: Sanchez, Merrick, Cucurella, Madueke, Chukwuemeka, Dewsbury-Hall, Gusto, Casadei, Rak-Sakyi

Kickoff: 8pm GMT, Thursday, November 7, 2024
