Exclusive Update: O’Rourke Shares Major News on Antonee Robinson to Liverpool

Liverpool are closely monitoring Fulham defender Antonee Robinson, with sources suggesting a significant January transfer is a realistic possibility, according to Sport Bulletin.

On the Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke highlighted that the USA international is likely to pursue a move to a top-tier club either in the upcoming transfer window or next summer. Sport Bulletin previously reported on December 20 that Liverpool would need to pay between £40-50 million to secure Robinson’s signature.

The 27-year-old has been a standout performer for Fulham this season, and the club is expected to face strong competition to retain him. O’Rourke emphasized that Robinson’s situation is “one to keep an eye on,” as a major transfer deal could materialize in January.

Robinson, who is under contract with Fulham until 2028, gives the club leverage to demand a significant fee. Liverpool view him as an “ideal signing,” partly due to his Merseyside roots, having spent over a decade in Everton’s academy. Despite not making a senior appearance for the Toffees, Robinson has since established himself, moving from Wigan to Fulham in 2020.

Over four years at Craven Cottage, Robinson has made 169 appearances, 118 of which have been in the Premier League. This season, he has contributed six assists in 18 appearances under Marco Silva, catching the attention of Liverpool and other top clubs.
