Liverpool is reportedly considering a €50 million loan-to-buy offer from AC Milan for striker Darwin Núñez.

Liverpool are unlikely to sanction Darwin Núñez’s departure to AC Milan in January unless they secure a suitable replacement.

The 25-year-old forward has had a challenging third season at Anfield, managing just four goals in all competitions. Signed from Benfica in 2022 for an initial £64 million, potentially rising to £85 million, Núñez’s performances under Jurgen Klopp were inconsistent, and the arrival of Arne Slot as manager has not sparked a turnaround in his form. Consequently, speculation has linked him with a January exit, with AC Milan showing the strongest interest.

Milan, currently eighth in Serie A, recently parted ways with manager Paulo Fonseca following poor results and appointed former Porto coach Sérgio Conceição.
