Mark Goldbridge has expressed concerns that Liverpool’s Premier League match against Manchester United, scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Anfield, is at significant risk of being postponed. Arne Slot’s Liverpool side aims to extend their lead at the top of the table against Ruben Amorim’s struggling United team. However, a weather warning in Merseyside has reportedly raised doubts about the game proceeding as planned.

Goldbridge shared on his X account that while the pitch conditions are fine, safety concerns regarding travel to and from the stadium could lead to the game’s cancellation. He wrote, “Very BIG chance Liverpool v United gets called off apparently. Nothing to do with [the] pitch and all [to] do with safety getting to and from the ground.”
