Man City set to finalize sensational triple transfer deal to revamp their season.

Manchester City are pinning their hopes on a triple transfer swoop to revive their disappointing season.

Currently sitting sixth in the Premier League, 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, City have struggled, losing six league matches and exiting the Carabao Cup in the last 16. Their Champions League campaign also hangs in the balance. Pep Guardiola’s squad has been plagued by injuries, while several key players are showing signs of decline. As a result, the club is preparing for a significant spending spree in the January transfer window to salvage their season.

Guardiola has reportedly identified three key targets to address their most pressing needs. The defensive department is a priority, with Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis on City’s radar, according to BBC Sport. Director of football Txiki Begiristain aims to bring in players who align with the club’s long-term vision, and both defenders fit the bill.

Khusanov, a 20-year-old central defender for Lens and Uzbekistan, gained prominence after helping his national team win the Under-20 Asian Cup. If signed, he would become the first Uzbek player in Premier League history. Meanwhile, Reis, a standout performer for Palmeiras, has been named in Brazil’s Team of the Year and is reportedly available for £33.5 million, although the deal could include additional clauses.

The third target is Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, valued at around £50 million. Marmoush, 25, has netted 18 goals across all competitions this season and is seen as a replacement for Julian Alvarez, who departed last summer. The Egyptian international is versatile, capable of playing as a striker, winger, or attacking midfielder. Despite Eintracht’s reluctance to sell, their director of football, Markus Krosche, hinted at the possibility of a deal if the price is right, saying, “No player is unsellable, but we want to keep the team together.”
