Reports suggest Real Madrid are eyeing a potential January transfer move for a 20-year-old talent from Manchester City.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid are reportedly targeting Manchester City attacker Savinho for a potential move during the winter transfer window, according to CaughtOffside. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are also keen on the 20-year-old Brazilian winger.
Savinho joined Manchester City in July 2024 for £30 million from Troyes. Since his arrival, he has played 26 matches for City across all competitions, contributing one goal and eight assists. Before that, he spent a loan spell with Girona, where he impressed by scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists.
Both Real Madrid and PSG have shown strong interest in the player, even sending scouts to watch Manchester City’s recent matches against West Ham United and Leicester City. However, Manchester City are reluctant to sell Savinho, as they are pleased with his development and have no plans to let him go this winter. A deal appears unlikely unless complications arise with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.
In addition, English defender Kyle Walker has expressed his desire to leave City during this window, but the club remains firm in retaining Savinho.
Real Madrid are also reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Archie Gray, per Spanish outlet Fichajes. The 18-year-old defender, who joined Spurs from Leeds United in July 2024 for £30 million, has impressed with his versatility, featuring as a central defender, full-back, and midfielder across 24 appearances. Gray has also scored six goals for Spurs in the Premier League.
Real Madrid view Gray as a valuable long-term investment and are prepared to offer Tottenham £43 million for the youngster. However, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou is reportedly hesitant to let the play
er leave.
