Mo Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai leave Liverpool fans in a frenzy with their actions after Bournemouth victory.
Liverpool fans are all in agreement after noticing what Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai did following their team’s 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
Salah, 32, netted twice to secure all three points for Liverpool, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to nine points. However, it was the duo’s actions after the final whistle that sparked a frenzy among supporters on social media.
Despite Bournemouth’s defeat, Milos Kerkez earned praise for his determination and tireless performance at the Vitality Stadium. The left-back has been linked with a move to Liverpool, with current first-choice Andrew Robertson facing criticism for recent errors.
Salah was seen congratulating Kerkez, 21, while Szoboszlai, 24, went a step further by sharing a photo with the Bournemouth defender on his Instagram story. The two players are international teammates, both representing Hungary, despite Kerkez being born in Vrbas, Serbia.
According to The i newspaper, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United have initiated contact with Kerkez’s representatives. However, the left-back is reportedly more inclined to join Liverpool than either Manchester club.
Liverpool might have an edge in the race for his signature, as their director of football, Richard Hughes, was responsible for signing Kerkez during his tenure at Bournemouth. While Bournemouth reportedly have “no plans” to sell the defender in January, they could be open to offers exceeding £50 million.
Excited Liverpool fans took to social media to share their thoughts, with one saying: “Bring him to Anfield.” Another added: “See you next season, Mr. Kerkez.”
A third fan claimed: “100 times better than Andrew Robertson,” while another called the potential move a “match made in heaven.”
A fifth supporter urged the club to act: “Sign him!! We all saw how he tied Szobs in knots in th
e second half.”
