Manchester United supporters have lost patience with one player after Mark Goldbridge issued a scathing assessment following their crushing 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace.
United suffered their 11th Premier League defeat of the season, falling to Oliver Glasner’s side at Old Trafford. The loss came after a three-game winning streak, which included two Europa League victories.
Jean-Philippe Mateta struck twice in the second half, scoring from close range just after the hour mark before sealing the win in the 89th minute. The defeat adds to the struggles for Ruben Amorim’s team, with frustrated fans singling out Diogo Dalot for criticism on social media.
Goldbridge also weighed in on Dalot’s performance, stating: “Dalot’s fall-off needs to be studied.”
Supporters took to X to vent their frustrations, with one writing: “I’m running out of words for Dalot. Some people are so lucky in life. How can someone have such a low IQ and play for United? Crazy.”
Another added: “I love Dalot, but he needs to be sold in the summer. One of the biggest losers in this new system—he’s absolutely horrible as a wingback.”
