Ibrahima Konaté perfectly captured every Liverpool fan’s thoughts with a four-word comment on Mo Salah’s Instagram post.

Liverpool may have delivered a significant psychological blow to Arsenal in the title race by extending their lead to 13 points over Mikel Arteta’s side.

While it remains to be seen whether the Premier League title race is truly over, the Reds cannot afford to lose Mo Salah as they push for multiple trophies in the 2024/25 season—especially with the 32-year-old in such outstanding form.

Liverpool are set to take on PSG in the Champions League round of 16 before competing for their first silverware of the campaign in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle.

A Mo Salah injury would be a major setback

To clarify, there are no current concerns regarding Salah’s fitness. However, he did cause a brief moment of worry while setting up Ramadan decorations.

Ibrahima Konaté, clearly aware of the high stakes ahead, playfully urged his teammate on Instagram to “be careful please.”

Given how well Liverpool have managed squad fatigue and injuries this season, it would be a huge disappointment if their No. 11 suffered an avoidable injury that sidelined him for the remainder of the campaign. Fortunately, there’s every confidence that Salah is taking all necessary precautions.

Liverpool could still lose Mo Salah this summer

The greater concern, however, is the possibility that Salah could leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

A contract extension has yet to be agreed upon, though David Ornstein recently provided a slightly optimistic update on ongoing negotiations.

For now, fans can only hope both parties are willing to show some flexibility to ensure one of the world’s best players remains at Anfield for years to come.
