Casemiro gives an “outstanding” pledge to Ruben Amorim, highlighting the “most impressive aspect” of Manchester United’s new head coach.

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is enthusiastic about the arrival of new head coach Ruben Amorim.

After managing his final game with Sporting—a 4-2 victory over Braga—Amorim is ready to take on his new challenge at United. Meanwhile, United prepared for his arrival with a confidence-boosting 3-0 win over Leicester City.

Casemiro shared his excitement about working with Amorim, noting how positively others speak of him. His midfield teammate Manuel Ugarte previously played under Amorim at Sporting, and Casemiro said, “The best part is that everyone has high praise for him. He made a name for himself at Sporting, even at a time when FC Porto were dominant. Sporting usually trails behind Benfica and FC Porto, but he achieved great success there and left a lasting impact.”

Casemiro added that Amorim will be joining a determined group at United, eager to learn and improve. “He will have an exceptional group here that wants to help, grow, learn, and reach the top of the table. We’re excited to welcome him with open arms.”

Manchester United’s players, including talented individuals who underperformed under former manager Erik ten Hag, appear ready for change. Amorim responded to Bruno Fernandes’s excitement by advising caution, noting that the captain may not find every aspect enjoyable. Nonetheless, the squad seems motivated to embrace new ideas and shed any negative patterns from ten Hag’s tenure.

Amorim, bringing his own tactical philosophy, has a plan but intends to adapt based on United’s strengths and weaknesses as the season progresses.
