However, Kerkez publicly dismissed the idea of a switch to Anfield at the time. Despite this, Liverpool appear to be maintaining their interest in the Hungary international, according to Romano’s latest update.

Speaking on his YouTube channel on Monday, Romano stated that Kerkez is likely to leave Bournemouth this summer, with Liverpool among ‘several clubs’ closely monitoring the 21-year-old.

He explained: “Milos Kerkez has made his intentions clear—he’s aiming for a move to a top club in the summer. He remains respectful to Bournemouth and fully focused on his performances, which have been excellent this season. However, he’s expected to leave, as multiple clubs are interested.”

Romano further noted: “Liverpool are tracking him and have been monitoring his progress. Kerkez is on the radar of several clubs, not just Liverpool, and he’ll certainly be one to watch in the summer transfer window.”

The journalist also highlighted that Kerkez switched agents in January, now working with Fali Ramadani—the same agent who facilitated Federico Chiesa’s transfer to Liverpool last August.
