Liverpool are frontrunners to sign a highly sought-after Premier League star admired by Arne Slot for his aggressive style of play.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot is determined to strengthen his squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to GiveMeSport, Liverpool are currently leading the race to sign 21-year-old Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, who is seen as a long-term successor to Andy Robertson. The club’s interest is further supported by sporting director Richard Hughes, who was instrumental in bringing Kerkez to Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in 2023.

While Manchester City and Real Madrid are also monitoring the Hungarian defender, Liverpool appear to be in pole position. Kerkez has been a standout performer under Andoni Iraola this season, with his dynamic style fitting well into Slot’s tactical vision.

Renowned for his forward runs and precise deliveries into the box, Kerkez mirrors many of the qualities that Robertson has provided at Anfield over the years. With Robertson approaching the final year of his contract, the Reds see Kerkez as an ideal successor.
