Liverpool plotting £82m bid for two Premier League stars also wanted by Chelsea and Arsenal.
Liverpool are aiming to strengthen their defence with the signings of Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.
Both players have impressed this season and are attracting interest from several Premier League clubs. However, according to a report from Fichajes, Liverpool are now preparing a €95 million offer to secure both players.
The Reds are in need of greater depth and quality at the back, and securing these two talents could be crucial. Kerkez is seen as a potential long-term successor to Andrew Robertson, who has struggled for form this season. The 21-year-old Hungarian left-back has already demonstrated his abilities in the Premier League and could be a smart investment for the future.
Meanwhile, Huijsen is considered one of Europe’s most promising young defenders, with Chelsea and Arsenal also monitoring his situation. Liverpool’s defensive issues, particularly Joe Gomez’s recurring problems, highlight the need for a more reliable option, and Huijsen could eventually fill the void left by Virgil van Dijk in the coming years.
Chelsea are reportedly looking for an upgrade over Benoit Badiashile, while Arsenal have battled injury issues in defence, making Huijsen a valuable target for them as well.
Bournemouth are unlikely to part with the two players easily, but it remains to be seen whether they will accept Liverpool’s €95 million bid.
Joining Liverpool would represent a major opportunity for Huijsen and Kerkez. With the club pushing for the Premier League title this season, the chance to compete for trophies in the near future will surely be an attractive prospect for the duo.
