Liverpool and Arsenal on standby after Newcastle owner issues directive on Alexander Isak

As chairman of the PIF and a strong admirer of the Swedish forward, Al-Rumayyan is determined to retain key players as part of Newcastle’s ambition to become a dominant force in English football.

This firm stance aligns with Newcastle’s strategy, and with Isak currently showing no desire to leave, the club is in a strong position to keep him — as long as he doesn’t push for an exit.

While missing out on next season’s Champions League could potentially alter the situation, Newcastle remain well-placed to finish in the Premier League’s top five.
