Alexander Isak has provided a clear update amid rumors of a contract dispute with Newcastle that have intensified Arsenal transfer speculation. The Gunners have been monitoring Isak since his Real Sociedad days and have continued to track his progress since his move to the Premier League in 2022.

Since joining Newcastle, Isak has made 76 appearances and scored 40 goals, drawing interest from multiple clubs. Chelsea showed strong interest last summer but were deterred by Newcastle’s firm stance, leading them to explore other options for forward reinforcements.

However, speculation about a potential move to London persists, especially following a recent contract development that reportedly introduced unexpected challenges, leaving Isak’s representatives surprised.
