RB Leipzig initiate direct talks with Liverpool over Elliott – Paul Joyce reports

Paul Joyce has revealed that RB Leipzig have reached out directly to Liverpool regarding a potential transfer for Harvey Elliott.

The Bundesliga club are actively seeking a replacement for Xavi Simons, who is expected to join Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window closes. Although Leipzig have shown interest in Elliott, no official offer has been made at this stage.

Joyce reports:
“RB Leipzig have made direct contact with Liverpool over Harvey Elliott as they line up a replacement for Xavi Simons. Simons is poised to join Tottenham Hotspur with Elliott now interesting the Bundesliga side. No bid has been submitted as yet.”
