Following Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Liverpool, new forward Viktor Gyökeres’ performance has come under scrutiny — and the numbers paint a tough picture.

It’s still early in Gyökeres’ Arsenal career after his £64 million summer switch from Sporting CP, where he scored 87 goals across all competitions — including the Champions League — in just two seasons, following his move from Coventry.

Despite the quiet performance, many fans believe the issue lies more with Arsenal’s lack of creativity than with Gyökeres himself. One supporter commented, “There’s no point having a striker if you’re not going to create chances for him.” Another added, “Nobody is passing to him. No chances created. He’s isolated.”
