“Liverpool optimistic about securing free transfer and targeting bold £87m move.”

Liverpool Plotting Ambitious Moves for Guehi and Olise, Sources Say

Following a hectic summer transfer window, Liverpool are already looking ahead to further strengthen their squad, with sources informing CaughtOffside that the club is eyeing ambitious signings for the future.

Top of their list are Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi and Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. Guehi, whose contract runs out next summer, is seen as a key defensive target. Despite Crystal Palace blocking a transfer late in the recent window, insiders believe Guehi is likely to leave on a free when his deal expires.

Liverpool reportedly feel confident about their position in the race for the England international. One source claims the Reds already reached personal terms with Guehi during the summer and are not overly concerned by rumored interest from Real Madrid or other potential suitors. Liverpool insiders have dismissed these links as “noise.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool are also setting their sights on Olise as a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah. Although the French winger is currently with Bayern Munich and valued at around £87 million, there are suggestions that a clause or informal agreement might allow for a lower fee if he returns to the Premier League.

Sources say Olise is eager to return to England, and Liverpool consider him a top priority. “Olise is top of Liverpool’s list,” one source noted, with the club viewing him as a natural heir to Salah.

While Bayern are unlikely to part with such a key player easily, their recent signing of Luis Diaz adds depth to their attacking options, potentially opening the door for negotiations.
