Arne Slot continues to have the complete support of Liverpool’s hierarchy, even as the team endures a dreadful run of results over the past month.

According to Fabrizio Romano, who shared an update on the situation, the Reds’ head coach retains the full confidence of the club’s leadership despite their fourth straight Premier League loss last weekend — a result that dropped the reigning champions to seventh place, seven points behind leaders Arsenal.

From concerns about the “body language” of senior players to rumours of dressing-room disagreements, the Dutchman faces multiple challenges at Anfield.

Romano: Liverpool board fully trusts Slot

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano explained that those in charge at Liverpool remain entirely convinced that Slot is the right man to turn things around, stressing that there is no internal tension or indication of a managerial change.

> “Internally, Liverpool’s hierarchy and ownership still have total trust in Arne Slot,” Romano said. “They’re 100% convinced he’s the best manager to guide the club through this moment. It’s been a poor start, but Liverpool believe things will improve with time as the squad settles and adapts. They have full confidence in him.”

Slot capable of sparking a turnaround

While Slot has faced scrutiny for some of his recent tactical choices and substitutions, suggestions that his position is under threat are considered baseless.

His achievements last season — leading Liverpool to the Premier League title — remain significant, and he also earned respect for navigating difficult circumstances, including ongoing contract uncertainties surrounding Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
