Arne Slot is reportedly believed to have attended a meeting with Richard Hughes on Monday, according to a reliable source on X (formerly Twitter), as Liverpool F.C. continue to struggle under the Dutch manager.
The Reds recently suffered a 1–0 defeat against Galatasaray S.K. in Turkey and then followed it up with a 1–1 draw against Igor Tudor’s Tottenham Hotspur F.C. in the Premier League.
If the report is accurate, the discussion likely focused on the club’s current run of form. It seems unlikely the meeting involved positive talks about extending Slot’s contract, especially with Liverpool currently at risk of missing out on qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
