A Manchester United player is reportedly dissatisfied with life under Ruben Amorim and has tasked his agents with securing a transfer elsewhere.

Ruben Amorim officially took over as Manchester United’s head coach last week, succeeding Erik ten Hag following the club’s poor start to the 2024/25 season. The 39-year-old former Sporting CP manager has begun preparations for his first match in charge this weekend, focusing on players not involved in international duty.

Amid the transition, reports suggest that Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee, who joined United from Bologna during the summer, is unhappy at Old Trafford. According to La Stampa via Calcio Mercato, the 23-year-old has instructed his agents to find him a new club, with Juventus rumored to be a potential destination. A loan move is reportedly the most likely outcome, as Zirkzee is open to leaving United temporarily.

Zirkzee’s form has dipped since scoring on his Premier League debut against Fulham, with just one goal and two assists in 17 appearances across all competitions this season.

Ahead of his debut against Ipswich Town, Amorim addressed his vision for the team, stating, “You will see an idea. You could like it or not, but you will see something we want to achieve. With only two training sessions, it’s a challenge, but you will feel that direction.”
