Mo Salah sets social media abuzz with his latest Instagram Story, sparking fresh speculation about the Liverpool star’s future.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has sparked speculation among fans with his latest Instagram post on Friday afternoon.

The 32-year-old forward, whose contract is set to expire in June 2024 if no extension is agreed upon, has been the center of media attention recently. After Liverpool’s 3-2 win over Southampton last Sunday, Salah openly discussed his uncertain future with reporters, admitting, “I’m probably more out than in.”

He elaborated further, saying, “We’re almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers to stay at the club yet. Of course, I’m disappointed, but I’m focused on the season and trying to win both the Premier League and the Champions League.”

Since then, Salah’s remarks have drawn mixed reactions, with Jamie Carragher expressing disappointment. Salah went on to feature in Liverpool’s 2-0 Champions League win against Real Madrid on Wednesday, where he missed a second-half penalty.

However, it was Salah’s Instagram Story on Friday that caught fans’ attention. The post featured him walking toward Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre in Kirkby. While the meaning behind the post is unclear, it quickly ignited fan reactions.

Some fans speculated it was a sign of progress in contract negotiations, with one saying, “Sign the contract, big boy,” while another added, “Ready to sign a new contract.” Others suggested it might be a strategic move, with one fan commenting, “He’s using leverage to get the best deal.”

Salah is expected to start in Liverpool’s crucial Premier League clash against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday, where a win would put the Reds 11 points ahead of Pep Guardi

ola’s side.
