PSG and Barcelona are preparing offers for a surprising Liverpool player following reported behind-the-scenes ‘disagreements’.

Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are reportedly preparing bids for a surprising Liverpool star amid reports of ‘disagreements’ with the club.

While it’s widely known that Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk—three of Liverpool’s key players—are out of contract at the end of the season, attention has shifted to another prominent figure in the squad.

Luis Diaz, whose current contract runs until 2027, has reportedly been in talks with Liverpool over a new deal. However, according to Antena 2, negotiations have hit a stumbling block, with the club’s initial offer falling short of Diaz’s expectations. The Colombian forward, who has contributed nine goals and two assists in 18 appearances this season, has been a crucial part of a Liverpool side leading both the Premier League and Champions League tables.

Despite Liverpool’s desire to secure an agreement, the discussions have not “progressed as expected,” with “some disagreements” emerging. This situation has reportedly attracted the interest of PSG and Barcelona, long-time admirers of Diaz, who are closely monitoring developments.

If Liverpool fails to resolve the impasse, Diaz could potentially be on the market during the summer transfer window. The winger joined the Reds from Porto in 2022 for £37.5 million and has since scored 33 goals in 116 appearances, helping the team secure both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup titles.

Liverpool, fresh from a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid, will next face Manchester City in a highly anticipated match at Anfield this Sunday.
