Liverpool might secure the signing of a “dazzling” Premier League player as the club is reportedly “prepared to accept” an offer from the Reds.

Liverpool could reportedly target a player from a Premier League rival to strengthen their attack. The Reds have had an impressive start to the season under Arne Slot, sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 17 wins in 19 games. However, they may still look to invest in the January transfer window to boost their chances of securing their first Premier League title in five years and only their second since 1990.

According to Football Insider’s Peter O’Rourke, Bournemouth may consider offers for Antoine Semenyo, with Liverpool showing interest in the forward. While a January move appears unlikely, the report suggests Bournemouth won’t block a potential summer transfer if Semenyo decides to leave.

Liverpool are open to making signings in January if the right opportunity arises but are not expected to make significant expenditures during the window. Semenyo, described as “dazzling” by The Guardian in November, is reportedly viewed as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose future at the club remains uncertain.

Following a 3-2 win over Southampton, Salah revealed he has yet to receive a new contract offer, with his current deal set to expire in the summer. The 32-year-old admitted he feels “more out than in” regarding his future at Liverpool.

Speaking to the media, Salah said: “We are almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay at the club. I’ve been here for many years, and there’s no club like this. But in the end, it’s not in my hands. Let’s wait and see.”
