Arsenal faces a double injury blow before their match against Man Utd and might be missing up to six key players.

Arsenal could face a significant setback ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester United, with up to six key players potentially sidelined due to injuries.

In what promises to be Ruben Amorim’s toughest challenge since arriving in the Premier League, his United side will head to the Emirates for an exciting showdown against Arsenal.

With Manchester City struggling for consistency, Arsenal will aim to keep the pressure on Arne Slot’s Liverpool by securing a crucial win on Wednesday. However, Mikel Arteta’s squad is dealing with a series of injury concerns.

Speaking about one of the injuries, Arteta explained: “It was related to the previous injury he had in Lisbon. He did well to play, but given the result and the niggle he felt, we decided to take him off.”

If the 26-year-old defender is unavailable, it will compound Arteta’s defensive issues, as Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White are both ruled out with knee injuries.

Additionally, Riccardo Calafiori, a recent signing, may also miss the game after being replaced by Oleksandr Zinchenko in the 56th minute against West Ham. Arteta commented on the situation: “He’s been dealing with minor issues recently. He’s recovering well from a serious knee injury, but we have to manage his minutes carefully.”

In midfield, Arsenal faces further concerns, with Mikel Merino and Thomas Partey both missing the recent 5-2 victory over West Ham. Arteta explained, “Unfortunately, they picked up injuries, and the game came too soon for them to be part of

the squad.”
