Phil Foden addresses Manchester City fans following a crushing defeat.

Phil Foden has reached out to Manchester City fans with a message ahead of their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest, following a dismal run of results.

City have gone seven games without a win across all competitions, dropping to fifth in the Premier League standings. Over the past month, the defending champions have suffered heavy defeats, including a 2-0 loss to a dominant Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

Foden himself has struggled for form, far from the player who was crowned PFA Young Player of the Year last season. The England international has yet to score in the Premier League this season and has only registered one assist, intensifying the scrutiny on his performances.

Acknowledging the team’s struggles, Foden wrote: “It’s been a difficult few weeks, and of course, we’re not where we want to be. But we’ll work together and keep fighting. We go again on Wednesday.”

Manchester City’s poor run has left them trailing league leaders Liverpool by 11 points after 13 games, a major setback in their title defense. Foden’s struggles were evident against Liverpool, where he recorded a zero percent dribble success rate and lost possession 12 times.

He’s not alone in rallying support, as teammate Kyle Walker also shared a message of determination, emphasizing the team’s efforts to turn their season around. City will look to bounce back when they face Forest on Wednesday (December 4), followed by a match against Crystal Palace on Saturday (Dec

ember 7).
