Jude Bellingham gives his word to Micah Richards following Real Madrid’s victory, while Alessandro Del Piero pleads with him to reconsider.

Jude Bellingham made a lighthearted promise to Micah Richards after Real Madrid’s 3-2 Champions League win over Atalanta, while Alessandro Del Piero humorously urged him not to follow through with it.

Bellingham delivered a standout performance as Real bounced back from their loss to Liverpool. Goals from Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr., and Bellingham secured the victory in Bergamo.

Speaking to CBS Sports post-match, Bellingham discussed his goal, his form, and Real Madrid’s ambitions during an interview with Richards and Del Piero. Towards the end, Richards brought up a playful bet, saying:

“We had a bet—I wore a full Madrid kit. Where’s the Micah celebration?”

Bellingham responded: “Next time I score… big M for you.”

Del Piero jokingly interjected: “Please no, Jude… only once.”

Bellingham’s strike against Atalanta marked his sixth goal of the season and his first Champions League goal in 12 appearances. Reflecting on the goal, he said:

“My goal? I didn’t know where the ball was going; I thought it would hit my back and everyone would laugh. But I got it and went 1v1 with the defender.

“I always want to influence the game with goals and assists, but it’s just as important to do the rest of my job. I’ve got my scoring instinct back, and hopefully, more will come.”

After a stellar season that saw Real Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League, Bellingham expressed his determination to add more silverware:

“We won a lot last season, but I am DESPERATE to do it again and many more ti

mes for this CLUB.”
