Manchester United fans are deeply worried about Marcus Rashford after footage of him on the team bus following the Plzen game surfaced.

Manchester United fans have expressed concern over Marcus Rashford’s actions on the team bus following their 2-1 Europa League victory against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday evening.

Rashford, 27, started the game in the Czech Republic but was substituted after 56 minutes for Rasmus Højlund, who went on to score twice, securing United’s first European away win in 20 months. However, speculation around Rashford’s focus has grown, with reports earlier this week from The Telegraph suggesting the club is worried about his off-pitch lifestyle and a perceived lack of commitment to football. Rumors have also linked him with potential moves to PSG or Saudi Arabian clubs.

Since signing a new five-year deal in the summer of 2023, Rashford has struggled to find consistent form, leading to moments of frustration on the pitch. Following the Plzen game, footage emerged showing Rashford on the team coach, with his head resting on the seat in front of him. The context of the video remains unclear, and fans have shared mixed reactions online.

One fan commented, “Man, that’s really sad. Hopefully, he can regain his form,” while another added, “He’s just either asleep or on his phone.” Others voiced unwavering support, with one saying, “I ain’t ever giving up on this brother. He’s the boy of Manchester.”

While the footage has sparked discussion, it doesn’t necessarily indicate any deeper issue. Rashford is expected to play a role in Sunday’s Manchester derby against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Despite scoring only four goals in 15 appearances this season, three of those goals have come under Ruben Amorim’s management. Rashford will look to draw inspiration from his past performances in the derby, where he has scored six times in 22 appearances, including a memorable goal last season.
