Rio Ferdinand reveals surprising insight into how people at Man Utd viewed Amad Diallo before his decisive goal against Man City.

Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand made a striking revelation about how Amad Diallo was perceived within the club before his match-winning heroics against Manchester City.

On Sunday, United appeared set for a frustrating defeat at the Etihad as City led 1-0 late into the game. Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol had given City the lead with a first-half header. However, a dramatic conclusion saw United snatch a 2-1 victory, thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes in the 88th minute and Diallo in the 90th. Diallo stole the spotlight, winning a penalty and then scoring the decisive goal.

Following the match, Ferdinand took to social media to share what many at Old Trafford previously thought of Diallo. He wrote:
