The player Chelsea fans are most eager to see leave in January.
Chelsea fans have voiced their opinions on social media, with a growing belief that Christopher Nkunku should be sold in January.
The French forward has shown flashes of brilliance in limited appearances but has struggled to secure a spot in Enzo Maresca’s starting XI, with Nicolas Jackson favored in attack. Consequently, rumors have surfaced about Nkunku’s desire to leave Stamford Bridge, and many supporters appear to agree it’s time for him to move on.
Kay expressed this sentiment, stating, “Nkunku has disappointed every Chelsea fan. We need to stop buying from Leipzig.”
CFC shared a similar view: “I would sell Nkunku and trust our sporting directors to bring in someone better. It’s time we have faith in them.”
Shayee questioned Nkunku’s fit at Chelsea, saying, “Nkunku was never a natural striker, doesn’t press enough, and I doubt he’ll accept the limited minutes he’s getting in the Premier League.”
VK was more direct: “Nkunku needs to be sold, not gonna lie, I don’t see a future for him at Chelsea.”
CFCypher added, “Honestly, I’d sell Nkunku and invest in a second striker. Maresca clearly doesn’t rate him. This isn’t about ability—he’s still a world-class player—but he just doesn’t fit.”
With fans seemingly united in their calls for Nkunku’s departure, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will fulfill their wish in the upcoming tra
nsfer window.
