In a candid interview with journalist Henry Winter, the 27-year-old forward expressed his desire for a “new challenge,” stating: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”

This week, Barcelona has emerged as the leading contender to sign the unsettled United star. With the January window just days away, reports claim United have revised Rashford’s asking price.

Initially believed to be around £40 million, Caught Offside now reports that the club is seeking £50 million for the England international. In preparation for his potential departure, United have compiled a shortlist of replacements, including Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, and Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma.
