Liverpool are reportedly in discussions to secure a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold as they target an impressive £65m double transfer deal.

Liverpool have reportedly entered talks to find a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold and are also pursuing Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, according to recent reports.

Alexander-Arnold’s future remains uncertain, with just eight months left on his current contract. Despite Liverpool’s eagerness to begin negotiations with the 25-year-old, who has made over 300 appearances for the club, there are suggestions that his camp has been in contact with Real Madrid. Reports indicate that discussions over a new deal have stalled, partly due to Liverpool’s reluctance to exceed the wages of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

Amid this uncertainty, Caught Offside claims that Liverpool have targeted Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong as a potential replacement for Alexander-Arnold, with initial talks already underway. Frimpong is valued at £41.5 million by Transfermarkt.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are also interested in signing Kerkez as a long-term successor to Andrew Robertson. The Hungary international, who joined Bournemouth last year for £15.5 million from AZ Alkmaar, has impressed with his performances and is now highly sought after. However, Manchester United are also reportedly interested in Kerkez, with TeamTalk suggesting he is “more likely” to join United due to family connections. United are in the market for a left-back following injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

Liverpool face growing competition for Kerkez and are reportedly considering alternatives such as Fulham’s Antonee Robinson and Wolves’ Rayan Aït-Nouri. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Kerkez expressed confidence in his ability to perform at the top level, saying, “I believe I can make it at the top level of football… then I can build an even bigger
