Italian outlet AC Milan TMN claims that AC Milan has approached Liverpool with an offer for a loan deal with an obligation to buy. Milan is reportedly offering €5 million for a six-month loan, with a total obligation to buy worth €45 million. While this would generate funds for Slot to reinforce his squad, it would represent a significant financial loss compared to the original fee paid for Nunez, a situation that has divided Liverpool fans.
