Arne Slot uses a single word to describe Mo Salah and shares thoughts on Liverpool’s contract situation.

Arne Slot described Mo Salah as “extraordinary” while acknowledging he has no control over the Egyptian star’s future at Liverpool. Salah provided an assist for Cody Gakpo’s goal and scored Liverpool’s third in their dominant win over West Ham on Sunday. This season, Salah has achieved 20 or more goals for the eighth consecutive year and became the first player to record a goal and an assist in eight Premier League matches within a single season. With 23 assists in all competitions in 2024, Salah has set a new Liverpool record for the Premier League era.

Slot praised Salah’s incredible season and emphasized his importance to the team. “Mo and the word extraordinary go hand in hand—he truly deserves it,” Slot said. “We know what he’s capable of, but beyond his goals and assists, his work rate when we don’t have the ball is immense.
