Pep Guardiola reveals surprise regret over letting a Man City player leave after only one season.

Pep Guardiola has revealed the one surprising player he regrets selling during his tenure at Manchester City. Since taking charge in 2016, Guardiola has led the club to an unprecedented era of success, winning 18 trophies in just eight years and bringing world-class talents like Erling Haaland, Rodri, and Ederson to the Premier League.

However, Guardiola recently admitted he regrets parting ways with Jesús Navas, a player already at City when he joined. Navas, who arrived at the club in 2013, made 183 appearances before being deemed surplus to requirements in 2017. Guardiola had attempted to convert the winger into a right-back to retain him but ultimately allowed him to return to Sevilla on a free transfer after his contract ended.
