Liverpool is preparing to recall a player from his loan spell after his actions at the club caused issues, including a role that left his teammates “astonished.”

Liverpool may be set to end Stefan Bajcetic’s loan spell early, bringing him back to Anfield in January, amid interest from a Spanish club.

The 20-year-old has struggled in Austria, failing to register a goal or assist in 12 league appearances. His selection under former Salzburg coach Pepijn Lijnders raised eyebrows, with reports claiming teammates were “astonished” by his continued inclusion despite poor form. Bajcetic was also fined for lateness and has since removed all references to Salzburg from his social media, signaling discontent.
