Arsenal supporters identify one player, described as “ineffective,” who needs to enhance his decision-making, saying he is no longer a youngster.

Gabriel Martinelli shone as one of the few positives for Arsenal against Newcastle, but it’s the ability to score crucial goals that distinguishes a top attacker from a good one. Martinelli missed a key opportunity to break the deadlock, and just 10 minutes later, Isak demonstrated what a clinical forward can contribute to the team.

@UPYOURARSENAL04: “Martinelli needs to work on his decision-making. You’re not a kid anymore.”

@ChidubemNJ: “Great first half from Martinelli, but he missed a 1v1, hitting the post. Isak gets a similar chance and scores. These fine margins matter.”

@unclejayye: “Our attack is so ineffective! Martinelli should have done better with that chance.”

@AyanwolaWasiu: “Even if Martinelli scores 100 goals for Arsenal, you can’t ignore the fact that he’s not good enough. ”

@certifiedshevhy: “Complaining about Martinelli feels pointless lately. I don’t even want to get started on Havertz.”

@denmanknight: “Martinelli couldn’t finish a yoghurt. Completely in

effective.”
