Fans believe it’s ‘time to address some tough truths’ about one player following Real Madrid’s crushing loss to Barcelona.

Fans turned on Jude Bellingham after Real Madrid’s devastating 5-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final.

Barcelona secured a stunning victory in Saudi Arabia, with Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha (twice), and Alejandro Balde finding the back of the net after Kylian Mbappé’s opener. Despite Rodrygo pulling one back for Madrid, Barca dominated the game, controlling the midfield, where Pedri delivered an exceptional performance.

Pedri’s display overshadowed Jude Bellingham, who faced harsh criticism online for failing to inspire his team.

One fan on social media wrote: “This fraud is only aura farming against small teams.”

Another commented: “Pedri humiliated Bellingham so badly tonight. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Other remarks were equally scathing:

“Bellingham tucked his shirt in to look busy. We see you, bro.”

“Jude Bellingham has mastered the art of looking busy on the pitch. He’s not elite, closer to a Scott McTominay than a Pedri or a Musiala.”

“Bellingham cannot dominate a midfield with Pedri in it. People only rate him for a couple of tap-ins.”

Despite his outstanding debut season, where he scored 23 goals and helped Real Madrid win the Champions League after his £88.5 million move from Borussia Dortmund, some fans remain unconvinced of Bellingham’s ability to deliver in big games, particularly a

gainst Barcelona.
