Liverpool ‘weigh up £50m swap deal’ as Wataru Endo given transfer opportunity

Liverpool are reportedly among several Premier League clubs interested in Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo, as the Cherries prepare for potential transfer bids this month. The 25-year-old’s impressive performances this season have attracted attention, with Newcastle United also expressing interest.

Bournemouth’s pursuit of Liverpool winger Ben Doak, currently on loan at Middlesbrough, could play a role in facilitating a deal for Semenyo. According to the Daily Star, Doak may be considered in a potential swap if Bournemouth approach Liverpool. The 19-year-old has drawn interest with his strong performances at Middlesbrough, though Liverpool have already turned down bids from Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town for him.

Semenyo is reportedly valued at £50 million, which may deter suitors until the summer transfer window.

In addition, Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo has attracted interest from clubs this month. Caught Offside reports that Fulham are considering a move for the 31-year-old, while Wolves, Ipswich Town, AC Milan, and Celtic are monitoring his situation. Endo has had limited opportunities under Arne Slot, playing just 56 minutes in the Premier League this season. A transfer fee of £10–12 million could persuade Liverpool to let him leave.

After Liverpool’s FA Cup victory over Accrington Stanley, Endo commented on his lack of game time:
